*(Front) The Queen's Royal Starship speeds away from planet Naboo. Despite the presence of ace pilot Ric Olie, the ride is a bumpy and dangerous one...especially for the astromech droids who have to make repairs on the ship's outer hull. R2-D2 is one of these droids, and the little fellow is later commended for his loyalty and bravery by Queen Amidala herself.
On the set, painter Kevin McCarthy brings some finishing touches to a full-size R2-D2. Star wars veteran Kenny Baker once again inhabits Artoo's cylindrical shell. *Source: Back of card
